Step #1: Be sure your Marketplace application is up to date
Keeping your income and household information up to date on your Marketplace application can help ensure you get the right tax credit, or subsidy. If your income and household is already up to date, you don't need to reapply to keep your tax credit, or subsidy.
Step #2: Make a payment by December 15 so you’re covered on January 1
Paying your bill is your #1 to-do to activate your plan and benefits, including your member website, Aetna Health™ app, digital ID card and more. So don’t miss out! If you have a payment due, be sure to make your first payment by the December 15 deadline so you don’t have a gap in coverage.

What if I'm being actively treated for a serious illness?
We understand this situation can be stressful. And we’re here to support you if you need to continue care. Once you receive your member ID, simply fill out the Transition of Care (TOC) form below. - Countdown to Coverage letter and email to get you ready for your plan
- Member ID card, your ticket to care and plan benefits
- Welcome information to guide you on how to use your new plan
